Poolesville Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Scholarship Program Guidelines
2022 Program Year
The PACC will be providing one $500.00 scholarship to a Poolesville High School Senior or Poolesville Area Senior who submits a TikTok or Instagram Reel answering the question: “Why Poolesville is a great place to have a business, big or small?” Our panel of local small business judges will select the winner.
Video Guidelines:
- Submission should be no longer than 1 minute
- Only original content can be used – any background music or sound should be cited
- Video must reference at least 2 businesses that don’t have physical store front in town
All essays on this subject should be submitted to Olivia Murphy (PACC Board Member) DUE: Wednesday, April 27, 2022
All videos will be judged on:
- Completeness of thought process
- Originality of idea
- Relationship to the local economy
The winner will be announced on the PACC website. Winning essays may also be posted on the PACC website. The Scholarship funds will be sent directly to the accounting office of the College or University that the winning student has accepted admission to for the 2022-2023 year.
