Poolesville Day PACC 5K Run/Walk for 2018
The Poolesville Day PACC 5K Run/Walk is an annual community event and is part of the Poolesville Day celebrations for the Town of Poolesville, Maryland. Runners and walkers of all levels of ability are welcome and encouraged to participate. The gently rolling race course travels through the quiet neighborhoods of historic Poolesville, Maryland. The event is followed immediately by the classic small-town Poolesville Day Parade and town celebration. More information on Poolesville Day can be found at Poolesvilleday.com.
Race management services are provided by Montgomery County Road Runners Club, and with electronic chip timing. The Poolesville Day PACC 5K is USATF Certified and Sanctioned.
Race proceeds benefit the Monocacy Lions Club and WUMCO Help.

Last Minute Registration
Participants may register onsite on Friday, September 14th from 7:00 to 8:00 PM at the Poolesville Baptist Church, or Saturday, September 15th from 7:00 to 7:45 AM at the Poolesville Baptist Church. Cash or check only for onsite registration. Note the onsite registration fee is $35 on September 15th.
The race packet, including race bib and t-shirt, can be picked up from 7:00 to 8:00 PM at the Poolesville Baptist Church, or the morning of the race, September 15, from 7:00 to 7:45 AM at the Poolesville Baptist Church. Things get busy on the morning of the race, so pick up on Friday evening is encouraged.

Parking is available at Poolesville High School before 7:45 AM on Saturday September 15th. The high school is located across the street from Poolesville Baptist Church. Note that there may be road closures and detours associated with the Poolesville Day festivities on September 15th.
The race starts promptly 8:00am with the start line in front of the Poolesville Baptist Church.
The Award Ceremony will be held after the race around 9:00am, winners may also pick up trophies and ribbons at the PACC vendor booth during Poolesville Day!

Holiday Lighting Ceremony & First Friday: December 7, 2018 – 6 to 9 pm
Join us in ushering in the holiday season as Whalen Commons is transformed into a winter wonderland. Festivities include visits with Santa, polar express rides, ice carving demonstrations, musical performances, and food trucks. The Chamber is a proud sponsor of the following First Friday events which include wagon rides through town to participating businesses offering specials and treats, as well as Chamber member vendors set up in Town Hall selling holiday wares.
